That moment when a tarpon comes in HOT. 👀 A free jumping tarpon in Whitewater Bay flies into frame and clears the entirety of Capt. Sam Root’s Maverick 18 HPX-V, which has a beam of 6’8”! “We were fighting a tarpon and following it and this one just decided to randomly jump across the boat. Unhooked, go figure. It was kind of slow, although we landed that one fish Pete was fighting. I think the water temperature is still kind of low for tarpon.” @scssam @petemaina | Florida Sportsman Magazine
