What Happened To Olive Oatman, The Girl With The Blue Tattoo

Olive Oatman, the ‘Girl with the Blue Tattoo’, was a captured by Indians in 1851 who killed most of her family. She was later traded to the Mojave tribe and was released at age 19. Her story of captivity became famous in America with a best selling book and Olive travelling to give lectures about her life, she often spoke fondly about the Mojave tribe.
