🎂 Today we officially mark The Co-operative Bank’s 150th birthday! On 8 November 1872, The Co-operative Wholesale Society started to offer banking services to other co-operatives and the Bank was born. It was important for us to support local communities, to behave fairly and honestly and to pay workers a proper wage. We were the original ethical bank, founded by people with a desire to challenge the status quo. Throughout our journey of 150 years of ethical banking, we’ve helped fight injustic
