Today we remember the 4 lives lost and their families. Victims of the August 6th, 1993 Tornado which hit the Tri Cities. It would take nearly two decades to recover from the damage, both physically and financially in Old Towne Petersburg. The F-4 Tornado would strike Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Prince George County and Hopewell. It would cross the Enon River Bridge on I-295 and Interstate 64.
