Urgent recovery we completed today of a Sailing Cat off Mooloolaba beach. While crossing the bar the cat was hit by waves that took out motor power and then the anchor tore off the main frame and the boat ended up ashore at the spit. We set up large slings around the back of both hulls, and run out 250 metres of plasma rope to Paddy's tow boat. With constant controlled power working with the waves it safely come off and was towed into the marina. | Clayton's Towing
