Mardi Gras parade nights are just the best. The music, the floats, the kids scrambling for beads, everybody posted up in lawn chairs like it’s a major sporting event. It’s loud, it’s colorful, and it’s such a Coast tradition. You can always tell how much work the krewes put into it — those floats don’t build themselves.
