This is my all time way to cast off (or bind off!). Other tips: 1. If you want more of a sharp corner to your work, before knitting the first two stitches, use a knitted cast on to add two stitches 2. Your icord can be 4 or 5 stitches if you want it really big (or 1 or 2 if you don’t!) 3. I ALWAYS size up needles when casting off to give more stretch.
