Colorado Springs weather 1/26/26: The mid level wind flow is the right direction to give us some weak downslope flow today. Expect up to 25kt gusts out of the west and southwest at times today. Surface wind maps suggest the higher speeds will mostly be west of I25 today. Downsloping wind causes a warming effect. I expect this warming effect to thaw us for a few hours out of freezing temps for a few hours this afternoon. Expect a high temp in the low 40s. A similar forecast is expected tomorrow.
