The first half of the fourth season of Outer Banks just hit Netflix. Ahead of its release… the cast spoke to The Hollywood Reporter all about the new episodes. Actors Chase Stokes, Rudy Pankow and Drew Starkey opened up about what it's been like essentially growing up with their characters over the past four seasons.

However, for season 4, the show was filmed for the first time in North Carolina itself, where it's meant to be set. Reports from local outlets shared that Outer Banks resumed shooting in November 2023 following the SAG-AFTRA strike in Wilmington, N.C.
