Kylian Mbappe's reunion against his former team ended up being a one-sided affair as PSG beat Real Madrid 4-0 to reach the Club World Cup final.

Alonso turned heads when he started a front three of Mbappé, Gonzalo García and Vinícius Júnior. The former Bayer Leverkusen manager gave the left wing, which normally belongs to Vinícius Júnior, to Mbappé, forcing the Brazilian to play on the right.

PSG's dominance wasn't confined to one side of the field, though. Nuno Mendes, the do-everything left back, was everywhere. He was bombing down the wing, bamboozling Real Madrid by inverting into the half-space, and even chasing down Vinicius Jr. when the Real Madrid star looked to be in on goal in the first half.
