Indonesian rescuers were searching for 29 people who remained missing Thursday after a ferry sank and six people died the previous night near Indonesia’s resort island of Bali.

Indonesian authorities have pledged to continue a large-scale search and rescue (SAR) operation for 29 people still missing after a passenger ferry sank in the Bali Strait this week.

Indonesian rescuers on Thursday temporarily halted a search for 30 people still missing after a ferry carrying 65 people sank near the island of Bali with the loss of six lives, the national search and rescue agency said.
