Blizzard Entertainment has officially confirmed that Diablo 4 will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro, marking the first Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT)-owned game to support Sony's $700 mid-generation console upgrade.

Diablo 4 will be PS5 Pro enhanced, Blizzard has revealed. Diablo series boss Rod Fergusson responded to a fan asking about a potential Diablo 4 PS5 Pro update on Twitter, confirming that the game will indeed be "enhanced" when running on Sony's upcoming mid-cycle refresh console.

Fergusson, who serves as the senior vice president and general manager of the Diablo franchise at Activision Blizzard, replied to a fan on X who asked if the game, and its newly released expansion, would support Sony ‘s new premium console.

The latest addition is Diablo 4, Blizzard's latest ARPG. The confirmation comes courtesy of the publisher's senior vice president, Rod Fergusson: Responding to a fan's question, Fergusson says the game will "indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced". This includes Diablo 4's upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
