The Phoenix Mercury defeated the Minnesota Lynx 86-81 in Game 4 of the semifinals to advance to the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2021. The Mercury recorded 31 points in the final frame to become just the third team in playoff history to overcome a deficit of at least 13 points entering the fourth quarter.

“This is a team that believes in each other — been overlooked a little all year,” Mercury coach Nate Tibbets said.
