Aitana Bonmatí has once again been named FIFA’s best female player of the year, taking home her third consecutive The Best award. The Barcelona midfielder finished ahead of Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey and teammate Alexia Putellas, securing 52 points to Mariona’s 40 and Alexia’s 33.
The Best men's and women's players are on the agenda while the best coaches will also be named. The fan favourite Puskás award went to Club Atlético Independiente's Santiago Montiel earlier in the day and the 2025 Marta award to Lizbeth Ovalle for a reverse scorpion kick.
