Tropical Storm Gabrielle isn't expected to have any direct impacts on the United States, but Bermuda residents should keep a close eye on the storm.
Drought conditions in Ohio continue to worsen as the state weathers a dry end to summer, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. Only 4% of the Buckeye State is currently free of drought or dry conditions, according to a drought map released on Sept. 11. Meanwhile, areas of moderate and severe drought have grown.
According to the National Hurricane Center, Gabrielle is forecast to pass east of Bermuda late Sunday into Monday and strengthen into a hurricane.
