Kerrville, where dozens of people died in the July 4 flood, is where H-E-B got its start more than 100 years ago.

Katheryn Eads was among the victims of the tragic flooding. She was a psychology senior lecturer at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Professor Eads joined UTSA in 2022 and became a full-time faculty member in the Department of Psychology in the College for Health, Community and Policy this year, according to UTSA.
