Three Brits are in the running for a home win at Silverstone, but Oscar Piastri would be keen to fend off the escalating challenge from teammate Lando norris for the top spot.

Lewis Hamilton says Ferrari is “in the mix” at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix after a competitive showing at Silverstone on Friday. Hamilton led the way in FP1 before taking third in Friday's second practice session behind Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, as Ferrari looks to be McLaren's closest rival both in qualifying laps and on long runs.

Halfway into the the season, Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari is yet to be called a success having not managed a single podium so far but there is hope with performance improving over a course of time.
