Blizzard Entertainment has officially confirmed that Diablo 4 will be enhanced for the PS5 Pro, marking the first Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT)-owned game to support Sony's $700 mid-generation console upgrade.

Diablo 4 and its expansion Vessel of Hatred will be PS5 Pro Enhance d, according to Rod Fergusson. Fergusson, who serves as the senior vice president and general manager of the Diablo franchise at Activision Blizzard, replied to a fan on X who asked if the game, and its newly released expansion, would support Sony ‘s new premium console.

The latest addition is Diablo 4, Blizzard's latest ARPG. The confirmation comes courtesy of the publisher's senior vice president, Rod Fergusson: Responding to a fan's question, Fergusson says the game will "indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced". This includes Diablo 4's upcoming expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
