Imelda has become a hurricane as it moves away from the Bahamas, the National Hurricane Center announced Tuesday. Located about 735 miles west-southwest of Bermuda, Imelda is moving toward the northeast at 7 mph.

National Hurricane Center: Tropical storm nine brings threats to Florida Coast
Tropical, squally downpours are expected even inland Sunday into Monday. There's also the potential for some coastal flooding with heavy rain expected.
Storm Amy is set to batter the region with winds reaching speeds of up to 70mph, with a yellow weather warning for wind in force for Yorkshire. The Met Office issued the warning, which is in place from 8pm on Sunday, September 14 and is expected to last until 6pm on Monday, September 15.
