After coastal flooding smashed high tide records two days in a row in Humboldt Bay, high tide levels are set to slowly lessen over the coming days but remain high Monday and Tuesday.

Certain popular destinations are predicted to experience "dangerous rip tides" and "large breaking waves" this week.

The NWS Eureka CA issued an updated coastal flood warning at 1:46 a.m. on Sunday valid between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Northern Humboldt Coast.

Another winter storm moved through the Bay Area on Monday, bringing more rain, minor coastal flooding and a chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
