Several people are injured after a tornado in Mineral Wells, Texas, flattened a portion of the town Tuesday night, the sixth day of a severe storm outbreak that has terrorized the Midwest and South.
At least 80 homes and 30 businesses were damaged or destroyed when an EF-3 tornado tore through Mineral Wells, Texas, officials said during a Thursday press conference.
Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop after lunchtime and may persist until midnight in parts of Northeast Texas. All modes of severe weather are possible.
