The second day of the 2025 MLB playoffs is in the books and three out of four series are headed to a do-or-die Game 3. The Los Angeles Dodgers are the lone team to wrap up their Wild Card Series, sweeping the Cincinnati Reds in dominating fashion.
In Wednesday’s other games, the San Diego Padres drew level in their series with the Chicago Cubs after a 3-0 win. Elsewhere, the Cleveland Guardians forced their AL Wild Card series against the Detroit Tigers to a deciding game after winning 6-1 in Game 2.
Led by a strong performance from Mookie Betts, the Dodgers swept the Cincinnati Reds in their NL Wild Card Series matchup with an impressive 8-4 win in Game 2 on Wednesday night. Betts finished 4-for-5 with three RBI in the victory.
