CLEVELAND (AP) — Nick Martinez pitched three-hit ball into the eighth inning, Jonathan Aranda drove in a run for the third straight game and the Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Cleveland Guardians 1-0 on Tuesday night to extend their winning streak to six games.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Sometime after Tampa Bay catcher Hunter Feduccia made a successful challenge against the Guardians’ Bo Naylor in the fourth inning Wednesday, the Automatic Ball and Strike challenge system crashed at Progressive Field.

Chase DeLauter had two hits and drove in a pair of runs, Gavin Williams allowed one unearned run and struck out nine in 7 2/3 innings and the Cleveland Guardians defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 to stop a four-game losing streak.

Brayan Rocchio continues to lead a Cleveland Guardians offense that is trying to hit its stride to complement the team's strong starting pitching.
