Forbes has released its annual rankings of the richest people in America, and five Connecticut billionaires earned positions on the list. Steve Cohen, who owns the New York Mets and oversees a hedge fund with $35 million in assets under management,

H-E-B’s Charles Butt and Eleanor Butt Crook, Dallas Cowboys’ Jerry Jones, and Walmart’s Alice Walton were all listed among the Texas billionaires in Forbes 400 list.

The two wealthiest people in the U.S. remain the same as last year — Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

Forbes has put out its annual list of the 400 richest people living in the United States and, as in prior years, Massachusetts is well-represented in the coveted club.
